Back from vacation!!!

Well.....we're back to say the least. It was a long trip and I think we've learned we are all vacationed out at about 4 days. We started off in Rome which was beautiful and HOT. Of course it was only in the mid 80's but to us Englanders it felt like the 100's. We saw so much history and its always so surreal to stand in front of these landmarks that we've always heard about and now they are right in front of us. These pictures here are of the Colosseum, Obviously, the Vatican and the Sisten Chapel and then various ruins of ancient Rome.

Next we were off to Spain which isn't much to talk about. We've been to Spain before on the island of Mallorca and enjoyed that much more for some reason. Barcelona was very crowded and the people are just plain ick....Most European people are very nasty and rude anyways. We mainly just did alot of people watching, shopping and walking walking walking. We did manage to get "attempted" robbed on the underground Metro system. Luckily Matt

felt the guys going after his wallet (which they got) and proceeded to get it back and let the guy have it for a few minutes. This was pretty scary for us to think that everything could have been gone in a second. I'm just glad matt didn't have to get very physical with the guys but all in all we got everything back and we're safe. That's all that matters.
